Digging through Nevada
Discovering Nevada History with Artifacts
Not all artifacts are dug. Some are handed down from generation to generation. Some are found in a grage sale. Some are won at an auction. Unlike postal history or ephemera, most do not have any guidpost to help identify them to history. But an inquiring mind can still learn a lot about them.
My loose definations artifacts are anything that is not paper or can not fit in a binder. These include rusty gold from the desert, special books. gold and silver, bottles, tokens, medals, insulators, Native Americana, etc. |
